We are based on the beautiful Isle of Wight just meters from the beach which is an ideal location to start your trip. We have always enjoyed Adventure, camping, cycling, hiking and travel, Van life goes hand in hand so it was a definite that we needed a van of our own.

After years of hiring vans and camping, we knew what we liked and didn’t like and wanted to create the perfect van experience. This meant adding all the features we thought would make trips even more epic.

The journey started with the search which took a while and we were over the moon to eventually find our perfect van, she was based in Cardiff and had been owned by Coca Cola, she was automatic, had twin sliding doors and had a tailgate and happened to be the colour we wanted too so we snapped her up.

Having a blank canvas of a panel van was amazing, we commissioned a local conversion company to help us achieve our vision. This meant we could design every part of the conversion from colours, stitching, kitchen design, features like hot water (rare for VW’s) and the lighting. It was an amazing experience to see the build and create something that we absolutely love. And then came the idea that we really need to share this and so Stars & Shore was born…
